Terms of Service

Last updated: Sep 28, 2026

These terms cover your use of useafterwork.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

These terms apply to the website only. If you become a client, our services are covered by a separate agreement you sign with us. If that agreement and these terms ever conflict, the signed agreement wins.

At a glance

  • Use the site lawfully and don’t try to break, copy, or misuse it.
  • You can share our content with credit and a link back to us.
  • Prices on the site can change. Nothing is binding until we both sign an agreement.
  • Our sample videos are either demos made from stock photos or real client work shown with permission.
  • Disputes: talk to us first. These terms follow Delaware law.

1. Who we are

The site is run by Afterwork (“Afterwork”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We turn home remodeling companies’ project photos into videos and distribute them across their marketing channels.

2. Using our site

You may use the site to learn about our services, read our content, contact us, and book a call. You agree not to:

  • Use the site for anything illegal or fraudulent
  • Try to hack, overload, or disrupt the site or its security
  • Scrape, copy, or collect content or data from the site with bots or automated tools
  • Use our content, videos, or brand to pretend to be us or to suggest we endorse you
  • Upload or send anything harmful, such as viruses or malicious code

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

3. Forms, calls, and our newsletter

When you fill in a form, book a call, or sign up for our newsletter, please give accurate information. Booking a call doesn’t commit either of us to working together. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email.

How we handle what you send us is explained in our Privacy Policy.

4. Our content, and sharing it

Everything on this site belongs to Afterwork or is used with permission. That includes text, videos, graphics, logos, and design.

You’re welcome to share our blog posts and videos, as long as you:

  • Credit Afterwork
  • Link back to the original page on useafterwork.com
  • Don’t edit the content or present it as your own
  • Don’t use it to sell a competing service

For anything else, such as republishing a full article, editing our videos, or using our logo, ask us first.

Client videos shown on our site belong to our clients and are shown with their permission. Please don’t download or reuse them.

5. Sample videos

Every video on our site is one of two kinds:

  • Demo videos, made from licensed stock photos to show our style and process. The homes in them aren’t our clients’ projects.
  • Client videos, made from real clients’ project photos and shown with their full permission.

Our videos are made with AI tools under our creative direction. Results depend on the photos we start from, so your videos will differ from the samples.

6. Prices and service information

We describe our services and prices on this site to help you decide whether to talk to us. That information is not a binding offer.

  • Prices can change at any time without notice, including founding-client or promotional rates.
  • Nothing is binding until we both sign a client agreement. The price and scope in that agreement are what apply to you.
  • We try to keep everything on the site accurate and current, but mistakes can happen. If we find an error in a listed price, we’ll correct it before any agreement is signed.

7. Other websites and services

Our site links to and embeds content from other services, such as YouTube, social media platforms, and our booking tool. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content or how they work. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

8. Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the site and how we use it. It forms part of these terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

You use the site at your own risk. Afterwork, its affiliates, and their employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and third-party service providers do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranty about the results you may get from using the site, or about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information on it.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, except for any warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Our blog posts, guides, and other content are general information about video marketing. They are not professional, legal, or financial advice for your business.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Afterwork and its affiliates will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site. This includes damages from errors, omissions, interruptions, delays, viruses, unauthorized access to or alteration of content, or the conduct of other users or third parties.

This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, these limitations apply only to the extent the law allows.

This section covers use of the website only. Liability for our client services is governed by the client’s signed agreement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Afterwork, its affiliates, and their respective owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the site
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or the rights of any third party

We reserve the right to take over the exclusive defense of any claim for which we are entitled to indemnification. If we do, you agree to cooperate with us as reasonably requested.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. This includes, without limitation, if we believe you have breached these Terms or acted in a way we consider harmful to Afterwork, other users, or third parties.

Sections 4 and 9 through 14 survive any termination of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

Informal resolution first. Before starting any legal action, you agree to contact us at legal@useafterwork.com and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Governing law. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or related to them or your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Venue. Any legal action must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue there, including any claim of inconvenient forum.

Jury trial waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Afterwork each waive the right to a jury trial in any dispute related to these Terms or the site.

14. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Afterwork about your use of the site. A client’s signed agreement governs our services.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed as little as necessary, and the rest stays in full effect.
  • No waiver. If we don’t enforce any part of these Terms, that doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example to a successor business.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
